thanks brian! After further reviewing the manual i found very clear instructions on how to do this. The console powers up and looks great so far. All It needs now is a good cleaning (pots, faders etc.) after running signal through it ive found that a lot of pots are noisy. Can problems such as these...

I recently discovered that the biggest issue I had all along with my amek matchless console was that the power supply is configured to 220. Can anyone give me some insight on how to switch it to 110?

I consider myself pretty "industrious". Can you be more specific when you say 'buy a kit'? Where can I get such a kit? Any particular books anyone can recommend? Sorry if I sound novice but im really serious about learning this and maybe making a second career out of it.

thanks for the input. I found a pair of snakes used on ebay from the guys at studio electronics in burbank. They even repinned them for me. I got a great deal too. I paid about 200 bucks for both snakes. all i have to do now is solder up the ends with 1/4 inch trs connectors and i'm good to go. All ...

i'm doing a bit of maintenance on it so i decided to hold off on selling it. I found the connectors for it so im going to be testing it out soon. After I completely evaluate it i'll post details and a price.
