Worth having or not?

Hey folks, Happy Holidays, as it is that time of year. I was scrolling through my local Craigslist today and I found a post where someone is wanting to get rid of a Behringer rack mount V-Amp for $115. I have a small home studio and I was wondering if this might be worth my while to pick up. Have an...

Ok folks, I tried to fix the issue with the volume between the right and the left channel...I think I am having some issues with one of my inputs, but thats another story for another topic. I also worked on the panning of the toms and bosted the drums a bit in the mix. Same link as above. Let me kno...

Wow, dude. There must be something seriously wrong with your monitoring situation. The right guitar definitely seemed louder to me. Way too over powering for my taste. Wow is right...I just took another listen to it and you're so right. The guitar on the right side is definitely louder. I will chec...

I find the current panning disconcerting, what with the guitar panned right like that, and as loud as it is - I think it would be better brought in some, and perhaps "stereo'd" a bit. The drum fills are a little distracting in their movement (and speed) also. That said, cool song! v^3, I find it in...

I need a new console.

Ok folks, I am in the market for a new console. I am looking for something with direct outs per channel. I have been searching around and have come across a Mackie 24x8 and the A&H ZED-428. I have weighed the pros and cons of each board, and I am just looking for some more opinions. So, with that sa...

After making a few calls and doing some research, I think I am going to try the DIY route here. IDK what I am going to do with the 3 brand new 6' snakes I have now, but I am sure I will find some use for them eventually.

Snatch: the snakes are 6' HOSA 1/4" TS snakes. I am running them out of the direct outs on my 2 Mackie VLZ3-1642s to the ins on my 2 M-Audio Delta 1010s, and back from the outs on the Deltas to the inputs on the boards. The Cheat: Soldering cables....hmmm....nah, that's not for me. ;) Thanks for the...
