This would probably be a great keyboard amp. I think JC 120's fell out of fashion as they have a very distinct sound, very sharp high end and jangly. I've certainly noticed this phenomenon with drummers playing live in small clubs. I've noticed really good drummers can be loosey goosey and sound "big."
