I like the Art and Lutherie Ami with cedar top. They are well made and record very nicely.

I have taken the fan out of mine and I haven't had any overheating and it sounds really good. FWIW, I installed fans in some of my amps (Marshalls, Musicman) and my Boogie came with one; I just put a US$2 toggle switch in line with each fan to turn it off for recording. There isn't a millimeter of ...

The zvex Nano head is a great amp. It has many different sounds depending on how you have the switches. It doesn't do cleans at all unless you turn down your guitar volume. It also can be put through different cabs for different tones. It reminds me a lot of an old supro/ vlaco amp when I use it thr...

I think I might dive in and give it a whirl.

I've been on the fence between this or the SSL Mynx tracking pack special. I have until Friday to decide.

I'm mostly recording voice, sound fx, and guitar.

I'll post a review if I get it.

I'm not sure if they are the same. They do look the same except they're not gold.

How about $250 includes insured shipping?

Tape Op ribbon mics

I have a pair of the TOMB group buy ribbon mics in the original cases.

They have never been used!

I jumped on the group buy for the good deal, but I haven't had a chance to use them and now I need the money.

$300/obo includes insured shipping via UPS. I prefer paypal.

Thanks...

There is a bit torrent of this album floating around. It is very cool. A bit scratchy and some skips, but a great piece of history.

the broke homerecording guy that has crap for a room. That's me... it was cheaper to buy the RF than to treat a room. I am actually using it all the time now on everything (guitars, piano, upright bass). It's not the best solution, but it makes a difference. You can adjust how "dead" the microphone...
