Yeah. Those were taken before. Sorry for the confusion. There is an additional unit that bypasses the RCA's and utilizes XLR's instead. It backpacks on the back side of the machine and plugs in where those normally plug in. so those, were unplugged for the time being.

TEAC 85-16 1" Help!

OK. I bought this unit about 2 years ago off a kid who thought it was broke mechanically but just didn't have any tape. Now I am selling it, and I haven't used tape in 5 years and that was just for a few weeks in a college class. I am having a bit of trouble getting this baby to record. I bought som...

I have a 16 channel x 4 with only a few hours of use if you end up running into a dead end on the 12 channel. And heck you could always use the extra 4 for something. I lkow I have.

I have a mid 70's Musicman HD 130 2x12 which as Leo Fender's company after he sold Fender. 130 watts or 65 watts, basically a Twin reverb in controls, but uses a SS preamp and EL34;s instead of 6l6 tubes.

Using a POD or V-Amp wihout a DI

I'm putting together a purchase for stuff for my church. We're getting a few V-Amps for the kids to play through but the budget is tight. I had planned on my signal path being mixer to xlr cable to DI box to 1/4" cable to V-Amp to 1/4" cable to guitar/bass/acoustic, but I am wondering if I can buy a...

Music Man HD130 2x12 Combo (Fender Twin) $500.00

Located in Flint, Michigan Music Man Amps were a creation of Leo Fender after he sold Fender Instruments to CBS in the 60's. This amp is similar to a Fender Twin Reverb accept for the following items of note: el34 tubes instead of 6L6 65 Watt or 130 Watts instead of 85+ watts. No tilt legs This amp ...

FS/FT Pearl Masters Maple MSX Retrospec Drums in WMP w/hsc i

Pearl only put these sets out for a few years I believe, discontinuing them around the time they started to really push the "reference" series. This kit is essentially a Pearl Masters Maple (USA Maple, not your cheap drrum/PDP maple) in vintage white marine pearl finish. They called this series the ...

Yeah, I have been a fan of the larger ludwig kicks. I can't for the life of me find a 26 except a concert drum that would need to be modified. I have been in the GS forum listening to clips of the Ludwig Accent "Zep Set" which sounds amazing which is odd because it is mahogany and poplar. I think my...

Pearl Masters Vs. Yamaha Maple

I love my Pearl Masters Maple Retrospec kit, but I had originally wanted a Yamaha Maple or Absolute Maple it. There is something about Yamaha drums that I love. Anyone care to chime in on what they see as far as differences between these two drum companies maple or birch kits? Or for that matter chi...

I think he is going to try some of these suggestions. I think he just would like it to break up at 4 instead of just after 2. So he doesn't need much.

Just putting feelers out there. I know some people stay in certain areas of the forums. I can delete it if that's the proper etiquette here.

Yeah, I gave him the option of returning it if he did not like the amp. He says he likes it and will give it a run by trying different tubes and speakers. We will see if he gets a hold of me though to trade back. I told him if his impedance was the same on one of his greenbacks to try that since tha...

Getting more clean headroom out of an 18watt 1974x type clon

I just sold JFE 18 watt clone to a guy. He has a bluesbreaker and loves it and is wondering how he can get more clean headroom out of this amp. He knows that an 18 watt breaks up earlier but would like to get up above 2 at least. Some specs / info: He exclusively uses telecasters and seems to have a...
