I had Pro Tools LE and the direct input latency on it drove me nuts, Even turning the Low Latency setting on and off drove me nuts. I have "down graded" to Pro Tools TDM 6.4 and the 888/24 hardware and there is no direct input latency and it's awesome. I still haven't seen enough of a reason for me...

These are great ideas. I run my old ADAT blackface as a meter bridge and a few month ago stopped singing in the middle of a take and said "doesn't it look like the level is too low"?
