Did someone say Red Hot Chili Peppers? I had all their albums and scoured the internet for all the b-sides and promos, like every note was gold. Worse, I dragged a bunch of friends in with my enthusiasm. But I started to hate them when I noticed that Anthony Kiedis cannot sing, or write... they jus...

Obviously it's a badge engineered Oktava ML-52. My question is, does it use the stock transformer, or something of quality?

Anyway, i think that kind of comment in response to a normal curious post is MORE annoying than the kind of nonsense it's trying to shoot down. I'm tired of reading it. Would you classify your non-answer post in the same category as mine? You are complaining just like I was. Who is more guilty, the...

You know, i heard if you use the mic he is using in that video, you will sound exactly like him. On a side note, I've got some Oil of Snake that is really good for polishing your fretboard. It makes you play like Hendrix. /sarcasm It didn't matter what Elliot sang into, he would sound like himself t...

I have been doing all mono for a few years now. just finally decided that I wanted to know exactly how stuff was going to sound in any situation, wherever I listen, bad speaker setups, the car, one earbud from the ipod etc. even beyond that, I figure I don't want to hide stuff this side or that, I'...

a few weeks back some one was talking about panning in mono to find where each instrument sits best... and i gotta tell you, i tried it and couldn't really tell... BUT, just out of curiosity, does the song sound the same way when you actually pan everything mono, instead of summing your stereo mix ...

I'm definitely going to throw a mono mix out there, and it wouldn't surprise me a bit if the band goes for it. Just don't tell them it's mono. Maybe just mix the reverbs in shallow stereo (10 and 2). They probably won't even notice. But it's like the perfect murder. You will want to tell them after...

Only book the gigs you will enjoy. Refer all other the clients to a neighboring Studio. And charge that Studio a finder's fee. You come out looking like a Pro and you have some more money in you pocket. And that Studio might reciprocate in the future. Life is too short to work on music you don't lik...
