I'm not trying to push any buttons here, but do you think Steely Dan has any black fans? It just seems to me in an effort to be soulful at times the band even comes off as more "white" and to me sometimes it just sounds cheesy. Output gain staging

Hi. I'm just wondering whether anyone has some advice. I've just changed from a MOTU Traveler to a Metric Halo 2882. With the MOTU Traveler I had the output to my monitors adjusted by -20bD. However with the 2882 I only have a maximum of -14dB adjustment. As a result my monitors amp has been turned ...

I'm running Max/MSP on a G4 Powerbook live and in the studio with no problems at all.

So let's start a new thread. Maybe someone can start by posting a few patches for us others to play around with and discuss?

I studied it in school in the UK. Would be great to have a Tape Op thread sharing ideas and patches as I have yet to find an interesting and busy forum for Max anywhere else.

Mine does, and has done since i got it years ago. no problems with it other than the noise. thinking of replacing it with a quieter porsche drive. on the other topic, crazy that the new macbook pros haven't got fw800, maybe the next revision will, ...

Thanks a lot for that!!!! I had looked at that adaptor on the Maplin's site but figured 15v may not be enough.

Just ordered it.
