Hi all,I was watching a cubase tutorial the other day and the chap on the video was using cubase 4's own eq.The funny thing was the lo mid and hi mids had a band pass setting which mine does not,mine only has parametric.Am I missing something here?Is there a way to change the setting?I have looked i...

New Weber speaker on it's way...

I just ordered a Weber alnico 8" for my vibrochamp but I have heard you have to "break in" a new speaker before it sounds its best.Is this true?If so are there any short cuts?

Just checked the tube in question (5Y3 gt) and there is no sign of breakage, it looks as though they were never there.The amp works great I was just wondering what if anything to look out for regarding the tubes.Seems as though all is fine :)

Check out Mike Pinders Mellotron cd.It has chamberlain samples too.A lot of people say it is the next best thing to having one!

Guitar pick up problem,please help....

I have an old hollow body guitar with single coils that has started behaving a bit strange.One pick up is fine but the other is very intermittent and the volume drops sometimes and begins to hum like it is not grounded or something.Shining a torch inside the f holes I can see it is very dusty inside...

So the difference between the two is down to the individuality of each amp not because of the year?Two amps made the same year could sound quite different from one another?

He says the speakers are the same in both but in the 80's version he put a new 12ax7, and in the 72 version a new 6v6 tube.Would this have an impact on the sound and volume between the two?

Just read a review on the harmony central site.Some guy on there has 2 vibrochamps.One from 72 the other from 1980.He says they both sound different from one another.
