hmm. isn't mic selection supposed to be subjective? my friend bought an NT-1A because he's cheap, but it wound up working for his voice really, really well. we tried other mic's, including my U-87 and it just wasn't the same. the NT-1A was better for his "unusual" vocals. I work at Manny's in NYC. We pulled one out of it's box and demoed it for a few days in our Logic setup. I can safely say it's worth the $800 price tag just for the compressors. The eq's are a little tricky. I couldn't get a narrow Q out of them no matter how hard I tried, so everything sounded kind...

These two tracks were mastered at DBPlus in NYC last Thursday. Certain members say we need to go back and use a different mix. I say Phooie. I like it. What do you think, make another pass or leave it alone? Thanks in advance, Jesse
