a-d // L2 vs apogee // etc
my scenario is this. need to get a stereo mix into ye olde PC for sequencing. this will be the final master. weighing whether to by the hardware L2 and use its converters, or go with the rosetta. In the latter scenario I'd probably still run software L2 (or will likely have sprung for L3 by then). s...

Re: Help! My monitor's dying
some of the viewsonic stuff has a 3 year warranty, i'd check with them before you consider your purchase a total write-off. of course shipping it around might nullify the benefits of this anyhow

tony, is that the Adcom GFS-4? that looks like the ticket for me - have you noticed any signal degradation by introducing it into your path?

right now i am routing everything through a small mackie to a crown dc300a, so there's nowhere to go but up as far as fidelity goes. i need to maintain at least 3 inputs, and ideally would have three outputs (i currently run 2 powered monitoring setups, one of the main outs and one of the tape send)...

multiple speaker pairs off a single power amp

Audio Master Quality Recording - CRW-F1 experiences
Hello,
Can anyone tell me about their experience with the late Yamaha's Audio Master Quality Recording cd burners? (i.e. the CRW-F1)
Does it actually make a better master? If so, are the benefits retained once the disc is used for mass duplication?
Thanks in advance.
