I'm with you on both points, gentleman Jim.
I don't smoke when there are clients there, unless they are also smokers. I go outside on a break.
And I most certainly don't indulge in any mood/mind altering anything while I'm the clock.
Just wanted to set the record straight.
Thanks for the thoughts

Hey MSE, I have had the same opinion re: alcohol/drugs come up more often than anything else.
That will be one of the changes I make for sure when I get around to hauling the Imac back to the dsl connection.
I def don't want to come across as some party pooping ogre.
thanks and have a good one

I hear what your saying btswire. I won't let anyone walk out unhappy with their results, but they wouldn't be able to gather that from my page. I also will often cut someone a break at the end of the session if they haven't been a pita. But again, potential clients aren't telepathic. (or at least I ...

Hey Space echo, that's a good point about the link comment. you've likely got a point. RE: no alcohol, I would treat that on a case by case basis (pun intended) Basically, if a band is there and things are going great, by all means, grab me a 6 pack too. I just wanted to avoid having a dozen friends...

Thanks for your input I used the cartoon template in IWeb and didn't make a whole lot of changes to it. I am trying to convey that this place is a fun vibe and a comfy feel, so I did throw a bit of cheese through out the layout. I hear you on the equipment list. I need to change the focus on that. I...

new website- what do you think? www.insidetheoutpost.com

Hello all, I have recently built my first web site and published it. http://www.insidetheoutpost.com It was made in Iweb on a Mac. I am looking for input, constructive criticism, suggestions, whatever. This was mostly made to back up the local flyers I am going to be putting up within a 50 mile rang...

i just picked one up for $100 at MF. They don't have an internal speaker, but they sound decent. It is easy to slip it by my bands attention that they are being recorded, so no one gets the red light jitters. I would consider one with an internal speaker if I did it again, just to make quick listeni...

Clock source / Mbox2 Pro word clock or Presonus FS as Master

Hello all, I am in the process ( squeezed behind the equip rack) of incorporating a Mbox 2 into my setup.. Currently, I have the a motu ultralite and an 8 pre clocked off of the Presonus via adat.. I have it set up w/ everything clocking off of the Mbox, but I believe that the Presonus may have the ...
