-1 for AVG. it's a piece of shit, IMO. Not that there's anything better. In fact, nothing is better than AVG. Which is why I've uninstalled all my Anitvirus software: >nothing< turned out to be a better option. The Get Down wrote:+ 1 for AVG antivirus (less resource hungry than avast! in my experience)

Re: Once ITB, does chain order matter?
It certainly does make a difference. EQ is going to alter the energy of the wave, which will alter the response of the compressor ( ie louder sounds will get clamped down on, quieter ones will not) Which one 'should' you do depends on what you are trying to do. Your best bet is to plug things in bot...

Need musicians for paying San Francisco area gigs Oc t23/25
Hello all, I'm helping organize a conference in San Jose and need to find some compelling, original live musicians for the mixer and the afterparty. Any idea where I should look? This is for the Singularity Summit ?08 in October at the Tech museum in San Jose, and one other venue nearby, stil...

FA: Very sweet live compressor/sonic maximizer
I'm auctioning off my BBE Maxcom, dual compressor/gate/limiter/sonic maximizer. It's very transparent, and the BBE process (latest generation) makes for excellent live sound. I >highly< recommend this for any live shows - I won't do any without it. Sadly, due to hand injuries, it looks like I won't ...

I don't think you want to use the 24 bit versions as your mainstay for online distribution yet. AFAICT, many people's sound cards and/or audio playback software can't handle this as a matter of course at this point. I'm not talking about your latest and greatest machine, but your 2-3 year old, run-o...

Bump.
I'm also interested in feedback on this. I'm looking to use it as a stereo front end for a guitar-like instrument in my live rig.

do spammers read tapeop?
Kind time of day boys, I understood that you needed your subscription id in order to join this board. If this, IMO rather mistaken, policy has been lifted, then a few illiterate foreign conmen is a small price to pay, if we could get someone to delete their posts. However, I am concerned that there ...
