power supply sits separate in a box connected by a 3ft cable.

To make an HD Accel 3 system out of this you would still need the HD core card, and 2 HD Accel cards.

Let me just clarify: This is NOT all you need to get into Pro Tools HD. You need to buy the software and pci card(s) first.
