I used my SM7b today with an old Ampex351 tube pre. It was a female vocalist, controlled volume, she knew how to work a mic. The gain was set a little less than 1/2 full gain, this tube amp has more gain than anything I've ever worked with.....a real tube monster..... it's the best combo I've ever w...

Ampex original, two are still sealed, two are opened but never used. They also have the number 797-150W11 on the sticker on the back. I am not an expert, but i think these are 456 original formula? $20 + $7 shipping? I will glady send you a picture if needed....hopefully somebody can put these to us...

I push the Delta 66 which has the same converters and its very stable and have only good things to say, for the money you cant beat...
