Remove the pitch control knob.There is a threaded sleeve behind the knob,Unscrew it.There are also three screws on the front bottom that have to be removed. If the reels are rubbing on the faceplate,you need to reset the reel table height.You don't need to remove the front panel.Remove the "bonnet" ...

Anyone out there have any real world info/experience using a i5 driven laptop with soft-synths ,(Reason, B4,),live.Not DJ or dance, but real screaming B3 sounds, pianos - Ya know rock and roll.Last time I tried there was still too much latency,especially on B3 smears.

Measure the voltage between neutral and ground.There should be no difference.I had a problem with the neutral feeding the house.I measured as high as 150v,depending on what was turned on,and was getting a low level shock in the bathtub because the ground at the breakers was tied to the drain pipe on...

Some consoles,(including Tascam),use 9 V.A.C. to drive the VU meter bulbs.I would think you would need a diode along with the current limiting resistor?

netbook softsynth

Hi All.Anyone using or have tried to use a netbook,(Atom CPU),live with B4 or other softsynths?I tried B4 on a cheap netbook and it seems like there was too much latency when it was played with a midi controller.

The Fs signal has it's own shield. The data lines are also individually shielded to prevent crosstalk and jitter.That's why ribbon cables don't work in long runs.Also with critical listening,you can tell,(subjectively),the difference between proper TDIF cables and ribbon cable versions
