My next project is going to be this way, thanks for the inspiring post.I truly enjoy the synergy of a real band feeding off another rather than an intern beat detecting the soul down the drain.As always the songs define the methodology and the rules broken whenever possible.

8 handles VI's quite well now and midi is finally improving(not a Logic/Cubase killer by any means)

Just traded my Logic/MBP rig for an 002R/2.53 ghz c2d mac mini running 8.03cs2, the BLA mod is next.Once I have a stable rig, its going to get frozen in time, no more upgrades unless its bugfixes.

IIRC, Cubase LE is limited to 8 inputs used to be 4 prior LE3 and below.Had a version that came with a Presonus card so running off memory, hope that helps.

I picked up an old stock Logic Pro 7 for $500 and promptly ordered the crossgrade from Apple. So it was worth it for me as Pro Tools LE was getting stale for me.
