TWO CENTS: I've gotten some of the BEST bass sounds I've heard running a p-bass into a 5150 head and (matching) 4x12 cab... those tracks just always sit right without any fuss and they stay the hell out of my kick drum range... I love it.

I've been led to believe you can use the 1/4" line-in inputs ON THE BACK of the Firepod on channels 1-2 to bypass the mic pres on those two channels only... anything you plug into 3-8 will ALWAYS go thru the pres. Definitely do everything you can to make sure that it's clear. IANAL, but from my understanding of copyright law, something is copyright-en when it's created. As soon as my pen goes to paper, I have a copyright on what I'm writing. Not at all... you HAVE to file to be 100% legal... and the old mail...
