So, for the same kick drum (which I believe is actually a maple/mahog kick, not full maple) what do y'all prefer for resonant heads (with a hole).

fire retardent bass traps

I'm doing live sound at a local venue and the manager brought up some issues with the sound in the corner of the room. I've worked the room before so I knew exactly what he was talking about, it's a boomy place, and there's this one corner roughly 16x20 that's underneath a balcony and the low end ju...

OH DAMN! I totally forgot that "Classic Albums: Making Dark Side of the Moon" documentary. That one is amazing, and I think there are others, but I haven't seen them, but if they're as good as that one, I bet they're awesome.

Ryan Adams has recently stated that he lost almost all of his hearing in I believe his left ear. funny that Townsend wasn't mentioned on the wiki article, esp. since I'm pretty sure he's working on some projects to spread the word about the very real possibility of getting it if you're in a band... ...

I'll be down there from the 13th-16th, right in the middle of sxsw, doing sound for my friends band. I'd tell you who it is, but it's my first gig out with them, and I'm already fretting the normal pressure that comes with live sound. Esp after taking a break from it for a few years... here's hoping...

shit! we just sold our last set we had in stock yesterday to some dude in Germany. Wish I had spotted this earlier. Well, Fender sucks to deal with, ie: they don't give us ETA's for parts. (How ridiculous is that!?!) But we've got more on order, however, no idea of when they'll arrive. If Fender has...

just wanted to toss in my 2 cents, which is BUY THE BOOK. It's amazing and worth every penny (even though I received it as an x-mas gift. BEST present ever). Besides being pretty much a complete fucking bible on Abbey Road and the Beatles, it just gave me such a huge appreciation for recording techn...

Froggy Bottoms, every one I've ever heard sounded completely amazing. Acoustic or plugged in.

Expensive, but they're handmade with love in the great state of VT.

Anyone got one of these they want to get rid of? PM me a price!

I'd prefer to send a check or m.o, as I have no Paypal account any more.
