Cubase SX3 Crashing When Importing Files......this is new.

I'm a card carrying skeptic, but I believe everything has a resonate freq and that every living object is comprised of sound vibrations. Our own living cells (skin cells, blood cells, etc.. communicate via freq i.e. sound vibrations). It is/was the big bang, God, the whole kit n' kaboodle IS sound. ...

Solfeggio Frequencies

Hey Everyone, Would love to hear ya'lls thoughts on this. Solfeggio Frequencies is a tuning method that changes pitch (voice, song, instrument, etc..), to resonate within human resonate freq range. Notably 528 hz which is the resonate freq of human DNA & can restore damaged cells. It differs slightl...

Laptop Shimmy Shake!

hey folks,
I've looked everywhere & can't find those shock absorbers DJ's use for laptops live on stage to keep the bass from shaking the hard drive into submission. Not really my world & don't even know where to start.

Anyone have a link, or reference to some?
THANKS!

the reason i ask is a good one. i'm very excited about these mixes - perhaps my best to date & am dying to hear them mastered. When I listen back and counter with other reference mixes, mine sound a tab bass light, but they're working - so I'm not going to start second guessing myself! ;-)

Final Mixes for Mastering: err on bass heavy or bass light?

double checking mixes in all listening environments & just wanted to see feedback on how you like to send final mixes to mastering: a) consciously making an effort to control the low end erring on the lighter side. b) send bass heavy mixes, knowing they'll scoop it. c) fuck it, sounds good - let mas...

How Soon Do you touch the pan knob?

...while mixing?

When I post here - I always imagine in my head that my tone of voice is just like that of The Dude in the big lebowski when he's talking to the kidnappers on the cell phone "yeah right,...just tell me where the fuck to go man!". Condescending douche bags. Jesus - some you guys need pussy, or weed - ...

To clarify: I am recording myself drumming, so can't do the listen while recording trick. I totally understand the math and logic of phase - have done this s...
