Re: Let's discuss spatial/immersive/ambisonic audio

I have zero call for anything more than stereo, but have been using dual mid-side and native B-format arrays (horizontal-only surround possibilities) for pattern steerage in post. Even within stereo, it adds a lot of options and the files are there for any future surround use. It would be nice if th...

ISO: Sennheiser MKH 20, single or pair

Anyone have a spare sitting around? A pair? Bonus points for the pressure ring inclusion, packaging, shock, etc.

Re: Roland Space Echo Mode 4,5,6 Hum

Cap hum is generally PSU related and would be a constant regardless of setting. Two things to check first: Those switch positions all making good contact? Does cleaning it help? I'm not looking at a 301 layout right now, but possible that combo uses a head that isn't used in the other combos, and it...

ioaudio BV.12 transformer for U67 clone

Matches the Poctop PCB, though will need solid wire wrap extensions as the terminal pins come out the side rather than the bottom. Can provide a diagram to anyone using it in another mounting scenario. Note tape on sides holding lams as I don’t have any screws (M2?) that fit the holes. I’ll run some...

Re: (seemingly) Basic Frequency Question

I believe it's the harmonics standing out more strongly than the fundamental. I went down the road of making my own low rent piano samples once, and if I look at the lowest notes on an analyzer the harmonics that stand out most strongly are not the fundamental, they are in fact entirely misleading a...

Oh man, I have a vintage gear problem and I have to restore all that stuff myself, so too much to mention. Don't get me started.....
