Re: Tascam reintroducing high bias cassettes

That Tascam tape looks neat but I can only afford to re-use tape that's decades old, lol

Re: BEATLES GET BACK DISCUSSION

Once they move to Apple, what are the lollipop looking mics they have for vocals? this site https://www.guitarandbeyond.com/beatles-microphones/ says they are the Neumann KM56 with a KM54 windscreen. if so, maybe they were in Omni and that's why they were pointing up (didn't matter) KM56. It's a si...

I love using 2 amps.
Getting to them doesn't have to be hard, almost any pedal with 2 outs will do.
I also like how 2 different amps respond sorta randomly to your pedalboard.
I'll won't try two amps at once because of being afraid of getting a shock, lol.

Re: Re getting guitar sounds

I've always just thrown a mic in front of my Fender and hit the record button. Or have the engineer do it.

Re: Moving From DAW to R2R - How To Maximize Only 8 Tracks?

With eight track, I usually use 6 and have 2 tracks left over. As for verb, mine's mono, and gets mixed in slightly on the right side of a mix. Thats about it.

Been watching parts of 3, 2, 1 and liking the sounds. Tubes, tape, and analog gear .. there's something about it all.

I always replace my k240s with k240s when they can't be repaired. No reason to change.

Re: Microphone Attenuation

I had same problem with M149 and ended up bypassing preamp and went directly into compressor. Worked perfectly that way.
