I do not consider myself a drummer, I am a guitarist/bassist/producer, (even though I have gotten pretty good over the last year or so) but I am playing the drums on my next album (I got sick of programming). My question is this. I am trying to cut down on the sustain of the drum (mainly the toms).....

Anyone else here use them and if so what are your thoughts.

I have used the Audio Technica ATHM-40fs for a few years now and could not be happier.

They are totally comfortable - sound excellent and they only cost about $80...i have 3 pairs at the moment.
