RME Fireface 800 VS Apogee Ensemble
I'm looking to upgrade from my DIGI 002 to a new interface. It's between the RME Fireface 800 and the Apogee Ensemble. I'm currently running PT 8.04 on a Mac Book Pro and Mac Book and I'll be upgrading to PT9 LE in the next few days. Anyone out there shot out the 2 units? It seems like the RME is a ...

Where Can I Get an API Legacy Manual/Signal Flow Chart?
I've been to the API site, but I don't see any downloads/pdf's of manuals or flow charts. Anyone have an idea?

Reason Adapted on Intel Mac for PT
Hi all:
I've been trying to get Reason Adapted 3.0 to work on my Intel Macbook but I keep getting a message saying "failed to install Reason engine, quitting". I did download the universal binary patch from Propellerhead but it's still not working.
Any ideas?

PT LE 7.3.1 and ingition Pack Plug Ins
Anyone out there have trouble using their Ignition Pack plug ins after they installed PT LE 7.3.1? I've lost the use of the Joe Meek compressor and eq, the Moogerfooger Delay, the Cosmonaut Voice and some of the DigirackII plugs. I'm pretty sure that the Digirack plugs are still supported in 7.3.1, ...

Alhpaport and PTLE
The Alphaport does support auxes and plug ins as well as regular fader and transport control. Check out the Alphaport site and read the forums. It looks like it's just some sort of MIDI control. On the Faderport tip, the folks at Presonus are looking into it as we speak. It seems like there have bee...

Faderport support
Hmmm... maybe if we all ganged up on the Presonus support site they'd get on the ball. I'm thinking about getting an Alphatrack. It looks like that would do the trick.

Presonus Faderport and Protools
I'm running PTLE 7.3.1 on an intel Macbook and using a Presonus Faderport for some of the mixing that I do. I really like the Faderport but it doesn't allow you to automate the sends with the linear fader. Does anyone have any tips or if they know of any driver downloads that would allow this?

Bright Space
I'd go with the 57 as spots for the strings and the condencers for spots on the woods. The 57 will knock down the screetchiness of close mic'd strings.

PTLE 7.3 and a Mackie HUI
Just wondering if this will work. I'm running PTLE 7.3 on a Macbook pro and I'm thinking about picking up an old Mackie HUI to use as a control surface. I'm thinking that this will work via midi at very least. Anyone out there working with one of these things? What do you think?

I'm a little confused....
...about what the metering options are on the Bombfactory Essential Meter Bridge are. I get the Peak/RMS but not -20, -15, etc. I'm guessing that it's looking at dbFS not VU?

M-Audio M-Tron on Macbook
I'm running PT LE 7.1 on a black Macbook (new mactel dual core yada yada). I loaded the M-Tron on the Mac and tried to fire it up in PT but it's not working. I see the app in the plug ins file but there's no plug in icon next to it (looks more like an RTAS icon but sort of grey'd out). I'm guessing ...
