Seems like Discmakers can do the specifics I needed, mainly the printing of the cover across the whole digipak, and printing the UPCs as stickers, and putting them on the shrinkwrap (dont want the UPCs messing up the cover painting) Has anyone ever had anything done at Massive Mastering? My bandmate...

Excellent, thanks for all the leads. Discmakers looks to be a real quality outfit, and I am calling them to see if they can do what they want me to.

I would also ask if anyone has any good places for merch. Shirts, buttons, posters, etc?

Any resources you want to divulge.

Can anyone reccomend places for mastering/printing/cases?

I had no idea which forum to post this in...but, my bands album is finally done tracking and mixing, we just need the last steps. Anyone have excellent experiences from somewhere in Mastering/Printing (cd and vinyl) as well as cases. Now the case is going to be the hardest part, and I dont even know...

As far as finding a singer, we have always said that if some one came along that worked out we would definately do it. But we are not actively searching. My band said that in 1998.... Now we get accused of being pretentious for making instrumental music, but I cant think of anything more pretentiou...

Nine. I think this is definitely a record that makes more sense when you take it all together. Wait till you hear the stuff I haven't posted yet. Listening to it a couple more times, I definitely dig it more...its infectuous...however I think that Advice is my favorite thus far. I eagerly await the...

This one is way more subtle than the others, but just as cool.

Definitely sounds like a more evolvedversion of the band.

Here's a great mod for the 3630. You'll never know why you wasted so much time dicking around with the Alesis in the first place. 3630 mod I have noticed that I may be the opposite of some folks here, but it much easier for me to spend the time as opposed to the money for things. For 200 dollars I ...

AHA! I went through a lot of work and double checked it multiple times just to realize that I'm an idiot and bought a 9VDC power supply instead of a 9VAC supply. I wondered why it was so freakin small. Anyhow, I googled to see if I could find a cheap one somewhere and found on eBay that a regular N...

I have a 414 and just a Behringer Ultragain that I got for 50 bucks 5 years ago. While I know that I could definitely have a better pre, the result of using it goes from disgusting to amazing (relatively speaking).

For me, I get things fundamentally right...like the distortion to sound right in the room, then I place my mic in different places, recording samples and playing them back and adjusting.

That might not work for you, so just keep trying things.

how was guitar mic'd/tracked/mixed? I dont quite remember, haha. I was responsible for external sounds, arrangement and playing. All I know is that the acoustic guitar was most likely recorded with a Neumann TLM103, because thats my favorite microphone in our studio. It's always my goto mic before ...
