I got to do this the other day at Sharkbite. http://hphotos-snc3.fbcdn.net/hs214.snc3/22160_295666914779_123141804779_3156594_6430950_n.jpg We used the med. sized iso in the studio and Sharkbites new Lucas CS-1 mic . At first the mic was more over the hat (which naturally picked up more hat) which w...

Looking for casiotone users and stuff

Hey gang,

I'm looking for a C key for a casiotone MT-68. Anyone have any extra spare parts for the MT series casios? Or a link to a site that might have them?

Also looking for a Casiotone 403.

Thanks!

Adam

This sounds fun, pretty cool track. I hear some piano or rhodes. (www.myspace.com/jamesandevander is my normal project if you care to check it out).

Did you play to a click? Whats the tempo?

Made a ton of edits to drum tracks and guitar solos on some new music that a buddy of mine and I are working on. (www.myspace.com/jamesandevander). And played around with my Omnichord and other various goofy battery powered keyboards.

I've had good luck recently with one of the Shinybox Ribbons like 2 feet above the drummers head looking down at the snare. There wasn't a ton of cymbal stuff going on though, so that probably helped. Just depends on what the song calls for.

I go for 8-10 hours. Sorta depends on how the band is feeling. And I usually try to start at 10 in the morning, so everyone gets some rest the night before, and still has the night to get dinner or go to a movie, or have some resemblance of a life and make the girlfriend happy that we get to eat tog...

Nah, let the kids use their Line 6 for free and get shitty two-dimensional guitar sounds. It'll be perfect for their myspace demo and it will be something you won't have to put your name on. When you engineer something, you don't want to put your name on it? Aren't you supposed to try and get the b...

*note* I did a quick search, and if this has been covered, let me know where and I'll check it out!*end note* So after seeing this guys (http://www.thirdmonkrecords.com/studio/rates.php) rates for stuff, and hearing of a few other place that do similarly, I just wanted to hear what you guys thought ...

Yeah, I knew quite a few people who got there and left because they had to tend to the farm, but also a few who completed the internship and were told they could stay but they didn't get a job. They did get to assist with some cool guys though towards the end of the internship though. But I guess it...
