I bought 2 sets of the ones reviewed in Tape Op for tracking. So far, all the musicians that have tried them love them. Gonna have to get some more because nobody I record wants to use my AKGs anymore, they all want the Monoprice ones.

Why is it that people work their asses off to get somewhere in their chosen field, finally gain some success and suddenly are labled "sell outs"? The way I see it, the Black Keys are no more sell outs than Led Zepplin, The Doors, Jimi Hendrix, or so many others. I happen to know The Black Keys have ...

Yes! You're right, I was thinking backwards! Thanks. So maybe a simple "Y" cable will work.

Just realized, a "Y" cable would pass the phantom power to both legs.
ART makes a splitter box that passes phantom to one output but not to the other and has an input pad to accept line level. This sounds to me like what I would need. Any thoughts on this?

Focusrite ISA One hookup question

Th ISA One only has 1 output for the mic pre.
Can I safely use a "Y" cord to split that out to my interface and to my mixer for monitoring with no latency without damaging anything or screwing up the signal?

I have a couple that I use to screen off the drums from bleeding all over the room. They work fine.

Wow! Other than the lo-o-o-o-ong droning intro, I really like this record. I've never been a huge fan but I really like this one. Sounds recorded very well to me, too.
Ahh, different strokes for different folks, I guess.

I have to agree with the single condenser mic about 3' to 5' in front of the leslie unless it's an extremely prominant / exposed / featured part..... then you might want to do some bigger, stereo mic'ing.

Everybody seems to have their own way of mic'ing a leslie so..... whatever flips your switch.
