I haven't done this yet, but I'm planning on just getting a PCMCIA to PCI adapter and keeping the same cardbus card. The adapter cards are <$40.00.

I could never get over the vocals on the SB stuff I've heard. It's like the singer on the 'Real Men of Genius' commercials.

That's from Z-Rock Hawaii - a collaboration between Ween and the Boredoms. Sadly OOP. Their remix of Yoko ONo's "Ask the Dragon" is amazing.

http://uisacad.uis.edu/~ksimo1/pics/DSC00078.JPG That was a Carvin DN640 doubleneck 6/4, solid Koa. I cry every day. I'm currently removing the neck stumps. Someday, it will live again. Maybe even this spring. It was at a friends house that was burglarized. They took a nintendo. A nintendo. >>sigh<<

And there's an outfit at www.fretlessguitar.com that sells Fernandes guitars without frets.... I"ve always wanted to co...

Re: cracked software

Doesn't this ultimately come down to consent? All arguments about intellectual property, copyright, the nature of theft, comparisons to videotape, Les Pauls, semen, corporations, toaster ovens, Metallica, the craft of software development, the music industry, etc. etc. are all superfluous. 1) If som...

Re: MP3 & the TapeOp mindset

In my mind, this is all about consent. Period. If the *artist* says its OK to download their stuff. Go ahead. If the *artist* says it's not OK to download their stuff, don't. If you don't know what the artist thinks, then err on the side of caution, and don't. -K That said, I want to stress that th...
