I have a record I'd like to send you...for free!

We just recently completed a new record for a friend (Patrick McGuigan) who suffered a brain injury in Ireland a couple of years ago. Before he left on his trip to Europe, he recorded 15 songs (voice & acoustic guitar) with me. Two dedicated friends and I have now completed his record on his behalf....

Oh..I almost forgot about the time a few years ago when I ran into his father before he passed away, at the local Cub foods supermarket putting the moves on the cashier...too strange. He was driving a little BMW with NPG license plates.

I happen to live in said "upscale Minneapolis suburb" known as Eden Prairie, Mn. About 6-7 miles from Paisley Park in Chanhassen, Mn. And I remember seeing the story in the local community paper about him and Larry Graham showing up at peoples doors to talk about the Jehovahs Witnesses. I could only...

Don't recall where I heard this, but folks used to put metronomes in suitcases with a mic...close the suitcase and then mix that signal into the headphones and voila!

Tuesday night they play here in Minneapolis at the Fine Line...no ticket for me as they were all swooped up in a matter of minutes I suppose. I wish I could say I was going, but no ticket for me...that sucks...

Pro Tools?....Great flexability,easy editing, easy to navigate, really sucky midi!
Logic?....Awesome midi capabilities, sounds great, but I find it harder edit audio and such...put them together?...do your midi in logic...import the audio to Pro Tools and you can really fly...thats how I look at it.
