I recently bought an original Alesis Midiverb (i.e Midiverb I) off of Ebay, however I don't have a power supply for it. The manual mentions 16V Center Tapped Transformer 800mA. If anyone can describe what kind of power supply I need, and where I can get one, I would appreciate it greatly!

the weird sounds, especially the theremin thing is using a fernandes guitar with a sustainer thing (kind of like an ebow thing) plus a lot of it is backwards with a ton of delay... ive kind of moved on to doing ambient electronic music since this but i wanted to see what people thought of this.... 4...

this reminded me of unrest or the feelies. i think what was key to those bands was the real manic and interesting percussion stuff. that goes well with the VU style guitar parts. like the guy said above, some kind of woodblock or shaker to spice it up abit. id also mix the vocal a bit lower. 47ronin

the guitars sound great. i think maybe a fatter bass sound would be cool. engineering wise, the drums are definitely what makes this mix not quite professional standard. (not that i m an expert , really) it sounds like you used some sort of eq on the drums that kind of sucked the life out a little.....

i liked the honestone mix...that is really a great song. maybe it was just my shitty speakers but it sounded a little jacked up in the mids to highs range. the guitars, your, voice, and the cymbals seem to be competing for the same frequencies a little bit. what kind of compression are you using?. m...

overall pretty cool. I think the vocals are delivered well but lack focus...theres not enough bite and the lyrics arent that distinguishable. Its kind of hard to tell what kind of image the song is projecting...theres a zillion groups out there making this kind of music and you need to stand out som...
