complete beatles recording book is a classic. i can't keep it in the control room or *i* get stuck reading it.
when i was borrowing Lords of Chaos it got a ton of interest. not very well written, but great if you're bored.

i was one of the people that used sank during that "criminal" era. my experience with him completely and totally reflects that personification. therefore, the two mics i had him do need to go somewhere else, and i'm looking at ENAK. you guys mentioned that the 160 has a corrugated ribbon that only b...

i used to have a 166a on loan but i'm looking to fill the slot permanently, and possibly a little better. have been looking at the RNLA and have checked the search for you folks' thoughts on them, but didn't really get any hits that were bass specific. any thoughts re: bass through the RNLA? any bet...

finicky old cd burners
i've got a marantz 610 and, to be honest, i kinda love its anachronistic old soul. but it is really picky about the blank cds that it takes, and i've even had brands that worked from one pack but not from the next. i know it has 1 bit converters. i know i should just do it in the computer. i'm ignor...

opamp labs mic pres and EQs
http://clixel.com/users/alex/opamplabs.jpg two 360bm mic pre and 325eq cans. the pres worked when i removed them from service to steal the power supply. which reminds me, you'll need a +/-6-24v power supply. but OTT, these have everything you need to get two good working pres with switchable input ...
