I need a footswitch for an ampeg VL 503

I need a footswitch for an ampeg VL 503. I think it might be designated "afp-5". Does anyone have any leads? e-bay has been a consistent washout and the ampeg site isnt very helpful.

AKG D3600

Just bought an akg d3600 on a whim as an alternative(and in this case cheap) to the bass/kick standards. Apparently its a dual diaphram dynamic. Everything else in my small mike box is so generic I am excited about trying something two steps off the beaten path. Anybody use one successfully (or unsu...

Full compass has 'em but not set up to listen too. They gave me some story about how they have to specifically request demo models, blah,blah,blah... Allegedly they will call me when this happens if I dont buy they first.

Re: Advice on entry level Mac audio software?

If you get the visual quickstart manual for pro tools 5, then pt free is not that difficult, especially if you just use its basic features. I think its written by steven roback, who used to be in Rain Parade. maybe $20 at amazon? A bonus to pt free is that if you ever get an mbox or better, all your...

I am thinking about pulling the trigger on some some of the cheaper powered Events but would love some feedback before I do. Not many places to test monitors in Madison let alone side by side so ultimately I am kinda reliant on other's say so. Thanks.-L-

Has anyone tried the evnt ps6's or the tr6's. It looks like they can be had relatively affordably if you look around.

Re: cheap powered monitors $350ish and down

I hadn't thought seriously about doing the monitor/amp combo cause I just assumed it would be more expesive overall, but the component upgrade aspect is a good one. I guess nothings really written in stone. -L-

cheap powered monitors $350ish and down

Before you blast me I already know the whole "if you spend a little more for the mackies" part. I have been making crappy music at home for 16 or 17 years and will continue to make music that will be mediocre at best. That said I would like to upgrade from my current $8 yardsale monitoring system to...
