If you can find someone with Logic, it will open GB files and you can export form there -- which is probably the easiest opt...

From what I understand, the FW-1880 is not even really a Tascam product -- it was designed by Frontier Design and branded by Tascam. I wonder if Tascam even has the expertise to update the drivers on their own, or if they need the cooperation of Frontier to do so. This series has been pretty success...

As a happy user of a FW-1884 myself, I wish I could help -- but I use mine with a Mac. Could it be your FW card in your PC?

Adam Gopnik on recipes, but it translates well to this discussion: "The recipe is a blueprint but also a red herring, a way to do something and a false summing up of a living process that can be handed on only by experience, a knack posing as a knowledge. We say ?What?s the recipe?? when we mean ?Ho...

If you play guitar, mandolin, banjo or ukulele, Guitar Toolkit is amazing. Great tuner, chord library, including chords for alternate tunings, BPM sampler and metronome.

Great UI, too. For half the price of a simple Korg tuner.

Is the phrase "kind of" or "type of" missing from the description?

I am not globally remote controlling my MacBook with any VNC programs, but I have been able to remote control Logic with a little iPhone app called Air Mouse, which can be configured per program. I use it to control transport functions, and enable/disable recording on certain tracks. I am finding it...
