I have the RC-20 and think it's pretty good Check out albums by Ken Rubenstein...back in the day he was on the cover of Guitar Player and they reviewed his albums and compared him to Hendrix in terms of vision and talent...the guy is a major genius. You'll get a lot of different opinions. I'd suggest:

RME soundcard
Steinberg Cubase SX or Nuendo

RME and Steinberg stuff tends to work very well together.

I have a multiple fireface 800 setup and I think the converters are very good. Now the drivers and setup are a different discussion. yeah, i was looking into investing in the fireface - for the features rather than the sounds (pre's, ability to use it without the puter fired up), but heard the driv...
