you'll be able to catch tony live when he tours for his upcoming album, 'resonator', due out in april...these shows give a good opportunity to view his gear up close, including that big custom stompbox board of his!

"The guy has good ears. It was indeed a straight ahead 4 string Musicman StingRay (sometimes with the dampers on) except for a bit of fretless Steinberger bass."

i believe Failure's Fantastic Planet was done on black face adats like 10 years ago...however since they took a ton of time to do it at home, it sounds great...

Just got it. I love the DVD showing the recording of the songs. Essential viewing, I'd think, for Tape Oppers. i like the dvd part as well, as well as how they did the same thing with the previous album. i sometimes dig watching dvds/visuals along with music better than just the audio...thought it ...

indeed, quite an amazing track. and quite an amazing player. the pedal steel is actually the first instrument he learned to play, having lessons as a kid and such. according to a mutual friend, its his "church in a box"!

a little while ago i was on some big kiss fan website which had a ton of soundfiles stemming from pre-kiss days to present. there was some info up there about the creatures of the night sessions, as well as some drums only tracks you could download....pretty cool it was...
