Re: Teac A-4300

The pre-amps sound pretty good, I will try to put other stuff through them. Guitar sounds pretty good already.

Re: Teac A-4300

I believe it is the model that you are thinking of because I have tried using it as a pre-amp then into my daw and I got some really dirty distortion. It sounds pretty cool.

I will try the delay thingy you are talking about, Thanks, would there be any other experiments that I should try?

Re: Teac A-4300

Is there any interesting use for it when it comes to manipulating audio or anything of that sort? Can I maybe make it into something interesting? I got it for free from a studio that I interned at and I really want to use it for something. Does anyone have any ideas whatsoever in what a engineer can...

Teac A-4300

Has anyone ever used a TEAC a-4300 reel to reel tape recorder. I am just wondering if it was ever used as pr recording gear or was it just to play reel-to-reel music. Thanks

Re: Drum Triggers

Drumagog, in my opinion, does not work very well, I would like to have multi-sapled drum sounds to work with and it seems that Drumaga does not work very well with that. I can't seem to get any wave files to work correctly, it seems that the only files it accepts are with .gog in there file extensio...

Re: Roland Vs-1824CD

Wow, thanks, I got it to work. Since you have this unit, how do you find the converters sound? Also have you used any of the FX Inserts during tracking? I'm thininking more like Compressors, EQ's, Gates, etc... Thanks again.

Re: Throwing in the towel?

Mr. Twitch monitor, I think that you are right doing what you want to do, and it takes alot of courage to do what you claim you will be doing. I did that for the last year. Working full time and going to school full-time is the biggest bitch in the world, don't give up on what you want to do.

Re: MIDI data from drum machine to separate track in ProTool

I had to do that once for a band that had midi info on a drum machine. Like in the previous post, just record everything in one track that make a new track for every single track that you want seperate. It is time consuming but it gets the job done.

I think that you should re-sell it anyway. What do you have to lose. I don't think they would come after you for doing so.

Plug-in colours

Are there any people out there who have used specific plugins out there, and noticed that they color the sound. I don't know maybe I'm crazy but does one plugin compressor actually sound different from another besides having different controls and graphics. Any thoughts?

Re: Drum Triggers

Are there any cheap sound modules out there that can only get the trigger information form the sound source and change that into midi so that I could use the midi info to trigger some cool multi-sampled drum sounds from my computer. Are there any cool multi sampled drum samples out there that I coul...
