Re: AKG 414 $600?

I saw that too. I was wondering what was up. I know that there's 2 versions of the 414; i'm just not sure what's the difference.

I'd still like to get one...now where did I put that tax refund check?

Behringer Intelligate question

Hey everyone. I know this is probably a user error, but here's my situation: I'm mixing down songs. There's some unwanted noise on some of the vocal tracks. So, when I plug my Intelligate in the signal chain, it causes a slight overdrive distortion on the vocal track; one that's not nice. It's not a...

Re: Alesis Rocks!!!

I too have had no problems getting info from them. They're always great when I contact them. I bought my Masterlink back in 2000 (that was when they had the 4 gig drives). I've recently upgraded it to a 40 gig, with their help. When I emailed them, I was fully expecting to have to ship the unit some...

Re: buying a house, freaking out

We bought our house about 3 years ago. It really, really freaked me out. The whole thing was a slap in the face of responsiblity. But, in the end, everything worked out OK. I wouldn't have done anything different in hind-site. So, I guess that means that I'm happy with the overall experience. I love...

it's a good thing they only want $165,000 for that thing. If it was $166,000....well forget it.

Re: What Did You Work On Today? 5-5-04

trying to line up a click track, that was erased weeks ago, to the beginning of a song. I think I got it right, but ???? and, of course, stupid me, it's the only song of the bunch that have clicks on the intros where I didn't write the tempo down. Other than that, everything else was smooth and fun.

audio selector switches?

Hey everybody, Here's my situation: I have a mixer with only one set of monitor outputs. I want to add another set of reference monitors in the studio. I'd like to be able to A/B them. Is there something out there that would allow me to send the mixer's monitor outputs into a device and then have sw...
