Re: Do I Know Anyone With a 388 and Mad Drum Skillz?

So how's life... You?

I kind of stopped visiting when TOMB decoupled from TO as TO was my gateway to TOMB and I was too lazy to set up a new bookmark.

Also I stopped recording for several years but I'm trying to get back into it now.

You're doing something different with the drums. The cymbals are crisper and seem to have more high end content.

Ok. I just whipped up a couple images to help explain. IMAGE 1: Hook up your reverb to the EFX send and EFX return, the same way you did on the channel insert. Make sense? IMAGE 2: Turn up the EFX send and return volumes. Then you can use the row of blue knobs to apply reverb to each desired track....

Thanks for the track breakdown Herr Doktor :D It's interesting to see how you put these songs together with only four tracks to play with. I'm stunned at the fidelity. Just goes to show what can be achieved with a modicum of care and attention to detail Incidentally, I gave the link to a friend who'...

The RCA phonos are -10 dBV and the XLR jacks are +4 dBm. The Bal/Unbal switch effects the XLR jacks and enables the use of balanced (all three pins wired) or unbalanced (ground unconnected) cables. It has no effect on the signal strength of the outputs *Has the manual* No, I can't copy it for you. S...

Is TOMB now an entirely separate and independent entity from TOOS (Tape Op Official Site), then?
