cool, i didn't really want to ride out to REPC on my lunch break again. i really should look into getting an external drive as well, so when my internal does fail, i have a backup. ready to go.

Alright. I've been battling this sampler i bought, that came to me broken.. I installed a new hard drive in the thing and the OS system found it! yay, BUT , the drive is LOUD!!! does that mean its on its last leg. I bought the drive used at a recycled comp store. i really don't want the thing dying ...

last session, two bass band. One set up was a CAD E-100 (condensor) along with a 421. great!!!! and the other rig was miced with a RE-20 and a beyer soundstar (421 lookin mic). best bass i've gotten.

I've been using the Lacie 80 gig for awhile. seem to be working ok, just remember to drag the icon to the trash if your gonna be doing some of that der Hot Swappin.

Hell yeah! i've been pissy cause i can't make it to the conference for many many reasons, and one being that Ian Mackeye will be there. BUT! he's doing a Q&A here in Seattle next week. coooool.

right on djimbe, i've been using a beta 58 into an old sears silvertone amp, all the nobs all the way up, cept for the vibrato set to whatever taste. great for the horror/metal/doom band i've been doing demo's for. have used it on screaming vox as well as soft singy whisper type. couple of years ago...
