should be required reading for every american
It goes without saying that what happened on 9/11 was EXCEEDINGLY fucked up because many innocent people lost their lives. Here, though, is the full transcript of the most recent Bin Ladin tape. If you honestly sit down and read this, you will come to the conclusion that islamic fundamentalists very...

Re: So .... Canada it is, then.
Healthcare, big net job loss, an economy that is still wobbly, a failed war in Iraq, unfettered corporate favortism, war profittering--and the biggest issue for voters was 'moral values'. Last night was the American population all but coming out to vote 'Yes' to make the US a Christian state. 10 of ...

So .... Canada it is, then.
Tonight affirmed my suspicion that there are just too many uninformed, unintelligent, uncultured, frightened rednecks in this country. The American people have handed the keys over to the neocons and there's probably no going back from here on out. Well, you have my personal permission to run the co...

Re: THIS IS ROCKIN ROLL!!!
Incredible technical performance aside, the drum sound in this clip is great! It just shows you can get alot more out of a drum machine if you run it thru a speaker and get room ambience.

Re: Class act(neo) Conservative mailers
Ha! More B.S. What are you quoting Michael Moore? The President DID spend a lot of time away from the White House , but if you saw his schedule, I doubt you'd call it a "vacation." He had 1 press conference and 1 radio address in the month of August, 2001. He had 3 golf outings and 3 fishing trips....

Re: Class act(neo) Conservative mailers
You've got to be kidding - 9/11 was the result of years of planning. Bush, Gore, Nader, Hillary... The wheels were set in motion a long time before the 2000 election. You're fooling yourself if you think differently. The wheels were in motion, no doubt. I'm just talking about a hypothetical scenari...

Re: Class act(neo) Conservative mailers
I dunno. But I do know if Nader or Pat Buchanan would've been president 9/11 wouldn't have happened, i guarantee you. Why does this country look out for Israel's interests before our own? Does that make sense? Does Estonia look out for Colombia's interests first???!?

Re: Maybe I'll vote the way of my gas tank...
I'm not sure one president or the other is necessarily going to lower the cost of gas. Either way, it's still cheaper than it was 15 years ago, after inflation. What *should* be influencing your vote is the fact that 1100 Americans were killed, 20,000-40,000 Iraqi civilians and soldiers killed (whet...

Clearly Rep. Simmons didn't find this funny in the least, and hired a man to run Harris over with a car.

Re: make up some generic indie band names
Apparently "Matchbox" is now one of these prefixes.
I was in Target or something and saw a video playing for a group called Matchbox Romance.

Re: STILL don't think the media is biased against Bush?
Regarding the window of time between when the IAEA last inspected Al-Qaqaa (on March 4th) and when the US visited it on April 4th, that window of time should've been the responsibility of the United States. If you boot out the inspectors and start a war, you have to take responsiblity for the situat...

Re: STILL don't think the media is biased against Bush?
Al Qaqaa, the weapons site in question, was still secured by the IAEA in Jan '03. So, certainly no stories could've been on CNN at that particular time. I'd like to see someone address the specific points in my last post.

Re: STILL don't think the media is biased against Bush?
It certainly is curious how the IAEA would report this finding to the Iraqi govt and US govt in October of 2004 when it was supposedly public knowledge in April 2003 that these weapons were missing. Why would the IAEA do this? I'm confused here. Are we concluding that they have an agenda? The weapon...

Re: STILL don't think the media is biased against Bush?
You say: This is an old story, brought up specifically to bring him down. CBS, NYT admit this by waiting. But in Drudge's article he says the media only received this "tip" last wednesday. Why would a media outlet need a tip from an outside source to run an old story? Does that make any sense? You c...

Re: STILL don't think the media is biased against Bush?
STILL planning to vote for a president and administration that didn't report this until they got caught? And now Bush says he wants to 'find out the facts first'?
