I am a Cubase user for quite a few years. Cubase 5 is great, but you should atleast download the demo of Presonus Studio One, I've used it a handful of times and it's very intuitive and I haven't been able to crash it. Really impressive software. It's made by two ex-steinberg engineers.

Somebody buy this. Night and day difference.

Audix D6 and my M-Audio Sputnik. I love the sputnik on just about everything.

I used one on kick drum once, right in the hole, sounded great. audio technica AE5100. I was impressed!

I like mixers myself.

Board works solid, sound great. I used it a few years back. Extremely quiet from the modification.

I don't know about you guys, but my 24 I/O on a PC was rock solid for a good 6 years. Never once had a click.
