Well I obviously sold my API, so I can't do any A/B comparisons with the finished product. I had originally intended to make a 312-style preamp using Eisen Audio kits for my 500 rack. I ordered all the parts and built a prototype and did some A/B tests with my API 3124+. To my ears they were spot on...
