yeah thats a great article for anyone interested in building a plate. for the arms i will put two pipe clamps with mounting brackets (like the ones i'm using) on the top (and maybe the bottom too). the brackets would be pointing up and onto them the two arms would mount with a bolt or whatever. the ...

the straps do look thin but they're actually pretty strong. thanks for the link-- musicians freind has a suction cup mic for $12 that looks pretty cool. it would be useful for trying out different pickup placements on the plate. as for damping, eventually I plan on building something like this: (fro...

(one of the few advantages of living in an industrial neighborhood is the abundance of metal shops) the plate will be 39 x 44 inches, so it will probably be like ...

Deltalab DL-5 Harmonicomputer Vibrato and Harmonizer

This is a rare interesting item so I thought I'd let people on this board know about it. Auction ends Weds Aug 23. Has the unique feature of keys on the front panel to select harmoies. Lots of fun! http://cgi.ebay.com/ws/eBayISAPI.dll?ViewItem&ih=020&item=300018396944&rd=1&sspagename=STRK%3AMESE%3AI...
