Hi,

There are some parts substitutions between modules, sometimes even between modules in the same mixer. But they are all pretty much the same--same circuit, just some variation in specific parts used. There are no "versions to avoid" in this case.

if you want to track in analog and avoid multiple generations of conversions, you could do something like this: fill up all 8 tracks on your tape machine. dump the individual tracks to digital. then make a rough mix in the daw and send it to 1 or 2 tracks of the tape machine (either record over the ...
