Helloski. I'm sorry this may be a bit of a stupid question - but I am for the most part, an in-the-box fellow. In our recording space, when we practice (and even during some tracking sessions) we use a soundcraft 200b as our PA front (sometimes feeding the output to the daw for reference tracks as w...

thats a pretty cool studio. i noticed one of those producer/engineers did the hellacopters high visibility album. that record (i bought it on vinyl on a whim when it was released) opened me back up to a lot of 70s rocks. it rocks.

Right I realize its not the most helpful solution to the specific post now. I was just saying, I aggregate 2 motu devices with no problem. It seemed to be stated here that Mote devices in particular were incompatible with the aggregate feature as a rule.

also, if you want to just chain two motu or other firewire interfaces together so they act as one, you create an Aggregate device out of them in the mac's audio prefs. Apparently, this does not work for Motu devices. There are also others like Digidesign's LE series, which cannot be part of an aggr...

i think he was an engineer before he started making his own music. that collection of outboard gear and vintage synths evident in the some of the videos is mouthwatering.
