well, it's been said that a piece of gear is nothing more than a modulated power supply.. some PSUs are clearly better than others. and old power supplies are rarely up to the spec they once were. i'm sure both the psu's you mention are ok. looks like one or both includes a metal rack chassis, which...

Ok, so I just picked up an old M260 for like $30 that had the grill beat to death. I assumed that it would need a reribbon because of some obvious abuse (the guy also sid he used it almost exclusively on kick). So I get home, pop the dents out, try it out on voice and am convinced it's pootched. Al...

sounds like a fun rig. i'm not sure about how to reset an a190 back to factory default settings but i'd try that. i use an a190 to grab midi clock all the time but nearly always feed that into an a160/a161/a162 to divide it down, delay some triggers and mix to shake up the 16th note thing you're tal...

I saw some on either Primal gear or Vintage King for around $180 each. These were not the GME-20 though. They were ME-20 I think and had fixed eq points. Joel, I may add some Jensen outputs too. Maybe 123's? Is that what you had in mind? I do find that when I use them in the insert on my console th...
