Steinberg CI1

Reaper's meters are reading dbFS and your mixer's meters are reading dbVU. It's two different scales with two different reference points. Depending on how your soundcard is calibrated, 0dbVU on the mixer will be somewhere around -18dbFS in Reaper. This is the way it should be. It's also good to not...

Windows volume control: 100% = unity?
I'm trying to "calibrate" my mixer meters and Reaper meters (and faders). Having all the Windows volume controls all at 100% (which Microsoft claims is unity) is making this difficult to do without adding in some passive volume controls on all my soundcard inputs and outputs (2 in, 8 out).
