haha well the first time i was just really messy about it and the second time i managed to wire it upside down heh...so i fixed it and it's going now...just gotta fuss with the frequency a bit and drop the output a bit...i put a trimpot in where one resistor would go so it has some control to it...i...

tried the 555 twice and it just refuses to work for me...might try the inverter ring next

waveform doesn't really matter so long as it's a low frequency...something that can drive a speaker i gutted out of a computer subwoofer would be good

it's cool, i have some friends who are into it...i found a bunch of bend points on a speak and spell but never soldered any in although i did keep the diagram...

theres a program called WinISD that helps design cabs and stuff...i have it although i've never built one...you pick a speaker and it takes the parameters and gives you info on the size of the cab and port size etc...

mmm the 10" i have from them on clear is thick...noticably...if you want thick stuff on the cheap use the czeck plant...i have like a 180gram 7"...it's like a plate...i do not however know of any record being mastered by united...only pressed...most of the stuff i have personally in my collection ha...

i've never pressed anything with them but stuff i've seen come from there has been so so...somethings were nice but the vinyl for the most part seems realllly thin...i dunno
