Wow. All's ya need is a 16 foot bullwhip and an avid punisher. Do it or don't. Decide RIGHT NOW. Be solution or be problem. Skip all the wordy shite and write a song, perhaps? The sun'll come out tomorrow,in spite of the pouting and overthought. Music steers human sanity, grab the wheel. Seize the day...

If I remember correctly, the PA was almost/if not all subs, and they were lined up in a plane with the front of kick,1 on each side, about 1/3 from the kick to the wall. They were loud, but it wasn't completely blaring-I saved that for the punk rock bands I did in my own place.I can see where things cou...

Very important to have the subs/pa lined up with the front plane of kick drum (not behind the kit). That way you're not screwing up your close mics with a bunch of PA bleed. Gating/expanding the aux send from the recording console to the power amp/speakers aids tweakability/envelope control,as well....

Did it with Soul Asylum/GraveDancers Union at Power Station in 92. Regular close micing, over and close/far room. 2 PA cabs with subs, crossed over so mostly just sub blasting. Just sent kick, snare, toms to it and mic'd the room. Put some room mics all the way up in that coffin cutout thing in the ceil...

Fender Deluxe Reverb. Around 18-22 watts with a tube rectifier,so it can be clean and glassy,or you can wind it up a little, and get some great power tube distortion/compression without the blistering volume. If you want even smaller,Fender Champ,Princeton/Princeton reverb are awesome. If you like ch...

TC Electronics power supplies?
Hey! I have a Tc elex M-one that will not power up,so I opened it up,checked it out,and there's 2 small electrolytics that have bled out. Did a little looking online, and found out these units (and any others with switching mode power supplies) have a reputation for these problems. Is it worth it for...

Cheap super gooey stereo flanger?
Hey all! I have an old MXR flanger/doubler which I love, but am trying to find a low budget hardware stereo flanger that can get super gooey (for lack of a better word) I've got a line on an old spx 90 (know it works, but noisy), boss se 50,and an old lexicon lxp-5. I owned a lxp1 and 5,and loved them...
