Cool. I've really only heard good things so I'll probably upgrade myself soon, but until then if I can help my friend learn some more about editing and midi without looking stupid trying key-strokes that no longer work and whatnot that would be awesome.

Obviously depends on genre but two of my favorite reference mixes as of late are TV on the Radio's "Province" and the Dirty Projectors and David Byrne's "Knotty Pine". I think the low-end on Knotty Pine sits perfectly in the mix and Province is just amazing all-around. If I had to reference an album...
